HPAC organizes neighborhood programming to provide community engagement and to fundraise in order to advance initiatives at the park.
These events are separate from the Park District events, which you can learn more about here.

Our HPAC meetings occur on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm on the second floor of the Horner Park Field House.

Concert: The Imperial Sound
The Imperial Sound is a band with years of shared experience, yet they sound anything but tired – the songs are fresh and the vibe is driving and melodic. This may be a band with a past, but it’s also a band with a future.
Concert: Reilly Downes & The Acid Cowboys | Lydia Cash
Reilly Downes is an Americana artist whose music intertwines heartfelt storytelling with the rich traditions of her Texas Hill Country roots. Lydia Cash’s delicate melodies, enrapturing voice, and a pedal steel twang showcase this native Alabamian/Chicago transplant’s dichotomy of grit and sweetness.
Concert: Eleventh Dream Day
Since first hitting the road in a battered Econoline van in the 1980s, Eleventh Dream Day continues to build on their history by moving forward musically, while never forgetting what inspired them.
Concert: Cielito Lindo
Our season comes to a close with the Sept. 6 performance of Cielito Lindo as they perform mariachi favorites at our Jacob Park show, sponsored by the Old Town School of Folk Music.
Concert: Pravda Records Night—Steve Dawson and The Handcuffs
The Horner Park show on July 26 is Pravda Records Night, showcasing two artists on the roster for the local label that was just named best in Chicago in the 2023 Reader poll – Steve Dawson and The Handcuffs.
