Saturday's first ever event at the site of our future garden site was a great success! Christiane, Katrina and Sue distributed a bunch of buttons and seedlings, collected plenty of donations, and started or renewed many friendships. It is encouraging that so many people want to support a community organic vegetable garden in Horner Park.
Thank you to everyone who stopped to learn about our project, and especially to those who contributed to our fundraising efforts. An especially big "thank you" goes out to Blue Sky Bakery & Cafe for donating their delicious baked goods.
