2010 Summer Concert Series Kick Off - RAINED OUT & RESCHEDULED

Join us on Sunday, June 13th for a night of blues with The Charlie Love Band.
A Full Slate of Entertainment Scheduled for this Summer
Our first scheduled concert may have been rained out, but we've got seven (7) more free evenings to follow at Ravenswood Manor Park and Horner Park.  Check our website, www.hornerpark.org for information on the entire season, and for information on how you can support this wonderful neighborhood tradition. Find us on Facebook, too!

Charlie LoveJoin us again at 7PM Sunday, June 13th for a night of blues featuring The Charlie Love Band.  One of the city's outstanding blues performers, skilled in producing a sound and beat that keeps audiences on their feet, Charlie Love Band is sure to provide us all with a wonderful evening of entertainment.

Upcoming Concert/Movie in Horner Park
We move to Horner Hill on Saturday June 26 with a concert by Buzz Kilman & the Blues Rocket Scientists at 7, followed by a classic movie: Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark!  Two more Friday night shows in July at Horner Park are followed by three more Sunday evening concerts back in Ravenswood Manor Park in August, including a rescheduled make-up performance by Fulton County Line on August 8th.

Look for more announcements of ourcoming shows.

Your support is very important to the Horner Park Advisory Council's Summer Concert Series. For more than 15 years, the council has produced free quality entertainment in Ravenswood Manor Park and Horner Park. We encourage you to visit our shows, and support our series by becoming a subscriber.  You can subscribe today via PayPal.

Horner Park Advisory Council is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.  You subscription may be fully tax-deductible - please consult your tax preparer.

Interested in learning how you can help keep our parks looking great?
In addition, the Horner Park Advisory Council is asking all neighbors to help in maintaining the gardens in our parks.  A grant we have been getting from the State of Illinois is no longer funded, and the Chicago Park Disrict has cut a part time landscaper from their budget.  This will result in a loss in garden help for our neighborhood parks this year.

If you love our parks and our gardens, and do not want them to become overgrown, please consider becoming involved!  Please contact us at our website, www.hornerpark.org to let us know if you can help steward our parks for a couple of hours each week.

Thank you for your support of the Horner Park Advisory Council's Summer Concert Series. Thanks for your support and interest in our neighborhood parks!
