Park Briefs:

Terry Sweeney, Horner Park Supervisor, and Dale Marie Grandys, North Region Supervisor, were present and representing the Horner Park Staff and CPD.

Horner Park: Summer Registration began last week and classes are filling fast.  Online registration, although slow, did work well.  Horner Park is hosting a new camp this year, Theater/Music Camp.  With the support of local theater companies children will be exposed to this wonderful world of stage performance. The council wishes to work closer with the baseball and softball leagues to better guide any future field improvements.

Baseball Fields: The CPD  has added new dirt on the fields in hopes of filling in some of the many dips and valleys on the fields.

Manor Park: The CPD is adding a new activity for Manor Park, Story Telling.  On June 26th at 5:00 pm there will be a CPD story time on the lawn.  This will be an all ages program and is hoped to be a little scary.
Buffalo Park: The flower pots were cleaned and rose bushes trimed.

Jacob Park: The new plants that had been planted in the fall were discussed.  This park was heavily planted last fall.

Sunken Gardens: None.

Horner Park Riverbank Initiative: None
